        Re: T-Top conversion has begun

hey, just a general t-top question.,,
i was going to remove and paint that metal piece in the center that the t-tops slide into, and i noticed it was glued on.
my question is why, is it for extra water protection or someting?
and did any of you recent t-top conv guys glue it on?

i decided to just leave it on and paint it on the car and cover everytihng up

The only prob I see is it the tops out and its starts to rain then what? Unless its a 2 Peice Ttop-like top to it

Bone, I think we should start the Targa Top Club. I want to do it too! lol

Thanks. It was a fun car to drive. I need to get some pics of the engine bay. Most of it was chromed and a fiberglass shroud covered everything else. The body kit was hand made from pieces for other cars. I believe the side skirts and rear was from a BMW M3 kit... the front, I don't remember. Honda maybe????

The car had a single pump hydraulic setup too. The interior was out of a Celica.

EDIT: Sorry Gr8 for totally gankin' your thread. I'll stop now. :)

lol, no problem. It was quite unrelated, but interesting car you had there! Now back to F-body T-Tops.
