I just called it a night. I have about 3 hours into it now, it hit 97* today, so I started after the sun had passed over a bit, but I think I'm doing pretty well on time. Hopefully I'll finish up tomorrow, if not at least get the fabrication done, and I'll finish up the body work on Sunday. So far it's been quite easy, just takes some to cut the roof off.

Re: T-Top conversion has begun
I went in to it thinking i'd use my high speed cutoff wheel, but when i started looking at it, I decided I could save more of the lip on the roof if I used something a little thinner. I scored at the front edge of the dip with a utility knife until the blade was dull at the tip, then used a special hack saw that has the front of the blade entirely exposed. The cutoff wheel would have been faster, but I got a very nice edge when it was done.
Cut the glue with a steak knife, that wasn't too bad as the glue was still flexible.
Took off the main bars with a sawzall and a 14tpi blade, very quick cuts, and not too ragged.

Re: T-Top conversion has begun
I didn't realize you can't close the flap in the trunk when the t-tops are in. I thought I had put the holders in backwards, but when I tried to switch them around, they just didn't fit. Can't really fold the flap forward as my amp is there, but it's not too big of a deal to take it out, so no worries.
Starting back in pretty soon here, updates to come.
