so far pretty much. I had a buddy over last night and I had him paint the t-bar and the kick panels, and another buddy of mine is going to come over today, and I'll find out how much help he is haha. I've been doing all the cuts tho.
dude thats awesome, can't wait till its done, should look awesome... im glad mine came with t-tops, cause i would never have the balls to cut into my baby...so congrats on that too.... and on bonemaro's remark... i do love the targa tops on vettes, you should do it
While Im not a fan of t-tops on anything that I own....Ive gotta say, that anyone that would take a perfectly good hardtop and cut it off...well you have some balls. Good luck and looks good so far.
The headliner is quite modifiable. Unfortunately I cut too close in one small spot and deemed it useless. But to those that don't think it's possible, it really is. It won't look quite as good as a t-top liner, but it can certainly look great.
Took it for a drive tonight with the tops off.. I'm in love. Never ridden in a T-Top car with the tops out, it's great. Certainly worth it, just got to finish making it look good when the tops are out and do a leak test.
Schlotzky, that looks really good. I was fortunate enough to buy a car with t-tops already, but you're right. The first ride with the t-tops out is an incredible experience. It's just so relaxing, it kind of makes everything disappear and suddenly it's just you and the road.
Bone, I think we should start the Targa Top Club. I want to do it too! lol
