dont paint it - polish it and the lines going to and from it with mothers metal polish - shine it up1994 3.4L DSG Camaro

I have heard f people wrapping the lines and Accumulator with a certain type of thermal wrap... actually looked decent (the material was dark) but it also helped the efficiency of the A/C system by keeping cold in and hot out.

... that being said, I figure any little bit helps, plus it can look good :)
If anything, may help the system to not have to work so hard in the summer.
