I find it easier to form the weather stripping channel with vice grips. instead of using a socket. you can adjust the bend, and make a pretty nice sharp corner. Once I get pics uploaded, ya'll see what I mean. I used 3 rivits to make sure it was down so when I bent the metal, it wouldn't move.
now all thats left is the mock up of the weather stripping, and dot where the strip lays, mock up all the parts including the t tops, see whats going to be effected from the weather and start laying metal fill from bondo, then finish it off with evercoats finish filler.

woohoo! Tops are on, the brackets need moved around a lil bit to get them to fit JUST RIGHT... but they are on, photos are taken, just waiting for girl to come back to put them on the comp. I havent done any body work, thats what people really want to see, I still have to trim the C-Pillar to make it straight (well curved right). its about to rain so I slapped the tops on and tossed a car cover over it. but it is sharp.... I'll keep ya'll updated. --- No Regrets.

^^Troy in the last pic. from that angle where does that gold trim stop ? at the windshield ?
Yeah, I cut it at the windsheild, but looking back, I think it would have been nicer if I left some of the gold on there up almost to the corner. More like what you had.
And Archer, no I haven't finished the body work yet. It's been raining like hell the past few days so I haven't had any chance to get anything done on the car. It's almost there, just a little more sanding and then painting, but it's impossible right now as it's pouring and the garage is full. I'm going to try my best to get something done today if I can get some space in the garage.
Hi, everyone. We bought a 97 base model convertible Camaro and someone broke the motor ... Lights were blinking on the dash and that someone ignored the...
Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....
