Starting T Top conversion Today!

Well I have EVERYTHING but the headliner... thats coming next week. I have a 3 day weekend so I need to know if anyone that has done this, ANY TIPS???

Anything I need to know thats never been posted? because once I cut, there is no turning back! I'm cutting in about 4 hours!!! and its 11:20AM EST. lol

I'll take photos and have my girl make up a website as I take the steps in doing this conversion so maybe people will stop asking the same questions all the time.. Poss. make it a sticky for a step by step process.

well I was going to start, then I got tied up cleaning my garage... im debating if I want to start on it now or not... hmm.. Dont know. lol

i cut the roof line and now cutting the silicone. that silicone is some tough stuff

I don't really have anything specific to say but good luck. I'd say the hardest part was making the weather stripping channels to line up and work correctly.

Just have patience and don't rush anything, you should be okay.

had to clean the garage so I can find my tools.. lol I moved in this house and just tossed everything in there. now its orginaized, car still wont fit in there, because of my kids toys.. so anyone want a **** load of dinosaurs. lol
I got the air compressor going.. Im going to use my cut off wheel....

well the top is cut, its a pain in the *** to get that top off isnt it!!! lol

Oh here is a tip guys. Wear a mask.. it gets dusty! I used my cut off wheel, and my god... after I was done, ya'll would think i was doing a couple lines and got messy with it. lol

Thats funny, because an officer from the Fostoria PD stopped by... lol Course he was a friend of mine.. then I got yelled at because he wanted to help...

its really a pain in the *** to get that sealant off... but its off now. I fired my girl from taking pics, she wasnt doing it.. but pics will be up later tonight.
