Okay so I'm trying to run the power cord to my radar detector under my dash, I want to know how to remove the part of the dash that is closest to the glass. Can anyone help me? Its a 99 camaro.

Take our both a-pillars, if you have t-tops then they are held in by two no. 2 philips screws, then pull them towards the center console to reomve them
then you have to VERY carefully remove the dash pad by pulling up on it lightly, it's only held in by industrial velcro,Y87 Package

Where are you wanting to mount the detector itself? I mounted mine right above the gauge cluster so when it goes off, its right there in front of me. I ran my wires for my radar detector and my XM receiver behind the gauge bezel. If you pull the bezel off, theres a small hole there where you can fish your wires down behind the dash and to the accessory plugs. If you look close at the pictures you can get the idea of what I did with mine.
