I have had a set of each and miss the shininess of the chrome. They were hella easy to keep clean.

dont be a loser who buys chrome rims, doesnt take care of them, and then starts whining about them pitting and whatnot. if you get chrome rims, do regular off wheel details and they wont pit, and will look amazing. they are both high maitanence. polished aluminum you have to polish regularly to remove oxidation and keep it shining, chrome you have to clean regularly so it doesnt pit/flake. either way you are getting something that requires attention. but chrome looks better.

if you dont want the extra work, go powdercoated.

polished won't look like chrome, but it has a lot more character. Everybody and their grandma has chrome.
