everyone thats seen my t-tops was impressed. including my dad. and he usually doesnt doesnt like how i add 'ground effects' and aftermarket stuff. he likes everything stock i think.
I cut my tops... now it leaks every time it rains or I wash it, the interior is ruined and smells of mildew. Now, it is rusting. I'm having trouble opening my doors because the center has no support and the car it literally folding in at the center. :naughty: j/k
If you have any background in fabricating, it's complete cake. All you really need is a bit of logic and basic fabricating skills and you could do it without instructions. I personally didn't pay much attention to the instructions. If you follow instructions close enough, I'm pretty sure anyone who will cut their roof off can make the t-tops work.
I went through a drive thru car wash the other day (had a gift card for the past 4 months, didn't really plan on using it but i though what the heck) There were just a couple drops coming in the very back of the tops because at that point I hadn't added any weatherstripping adhesive to the back. Not a bad leak at all, and it was only because the jets were shooting at my car. Normal to HARD rain, no leaks whatsoever.
