question abiut stripes

ok so i just got done priming the whole car. i want to add stripes. so my question is do i want to paint them on or buy the stickers i see on ebay? and should i add one stripe down the whole car or two from the hood to spoiler?

i would say two, front to back... and the vynal (spelling) is easier to take off if you ever want to change it, if you think youll keep it a while, i would say, might as well paint them on

so the whole car? or hood to spoiler? if i did vynal would i clear coat over them?

no, the vynal is just a sticker thing you put on after your all done painting (including clear)... as for how long you want the stripes, that depends on what you like, and what year your car is IMO

if you have no intentions of ever removing the stripes, then i'd clearcoat after you put them on. that way the stripes will last longer, especially if they're ebay stripes.

yea.. but if he has no intentions of taking them off... might as well paint em on... if you want some cheap vynal though.. here you go:

Get the vinyl..... Trust me you might get bored of them after a while.

I'd paint them. I've seen way too many vinyl stickers look like complete $hit cuz they peel and bubble.

BTW, if you do decide to take off vinyls after awhile cuz you get "tired of them", the paint will be slightly faded around them so in essence you will always have faint stripes ;)

paint them and they will be nice and glossy, but there on for good. if you are shure you want that look forever, paint them and they will look amazeing, i love painted stripes.

what color is it going on. If its like white or grey, I don't think you'll really notice much fading. Also painting can get real expensive real fast.
