  • headlight cover repair

when i bought my car, sadly it came with headlight covers, which were removed and discarded. the main problem is that the previous owner used the screws that came with the covers for the mounting brackets. ive lived with them so far, but after seeing Jaymatic's results with repainting his headlight area, im ready to remove them and repaint. what kind of filler could i use on the plastic of the headlight pockets? or am i stuck with the brackets?

Bondo sells an ABS plastic filler at autozone and the like. Check it out, it's a two part epoxy and you just mix it and stick it in, then sand it smooth and paint.
