  • Best Rim Size??

    I got a 2000 Camaro 3.8L

I want to get the black z06 rims w/ rivets.. I was wondering what size would be best for performance / gas mileage.. And are all these sizes able to fit with ease on our v6's??

    a.) (4)17x8.5"
    b.) (4)17x9.5"
    c.) (2)17x9.5" x (2)18x10.5"

and also what would be the best tire sizes for the above packages. Thanks

i think the wheels look better without the rivits...but thats my opinion. Id go with the 17 and 18s

for gas mileage i would assume set A... they are smallest, thus they probably weigh the least... im not sure on what kind of tire though

If you wanna pay big bucks for tires, choose option C. An important thing to note is that you won't be able to rotate the tires is you have bigger rims out back.

Also I'm quite noobish on tire offsets and stuff like that.. I found these 17x9.5 with 54mm offsets.... good or bad?

quality tires... hmm could you rate from least to best for the following brands: bfgoodrich, kumho, nexen, nitto, vredestein, and sumitomo htrz II?

                              thanks for your help
