After a couple months of delay of getting some new pics of the bird after it's new paint job, they're finally here. The cars dirty, the rims are dirty, and my paint looks like crap (can't tell much in the pics). So try to bear with me.
Before anyone comments on the alignment issues, I know about them. The headlight covers need to be aligned, the hood sticks up past the front bumper, the hatch is slightly off, etc etc etc..
I will eventually get around to fixing all these things. The car is not absolutely finished off yet, it's just about 3/4 done. I still need to do the finishing touches.
The hood wasn't my first choice, but I settled for it, mainly because of the price. I originally wanted the WS.6 style hood, but I got this hood at a steal of $350. I figure I'll hold onto it for now. The fog lights weren't my first choice as well, but they were free. I got them from the guy I bought the front bumper from, and they're all I have for now. I would rather have something there than gaping holes.
To finish off and proceed with the pictures. I just want to say please don't hesitate to give any constructive criticism. I know not everyone will like that I cloned a Trans Am, whilst I only have a 3.4L under the hood. But it's what I wanted to do. It's my car.. scratch that.. it's my baby, and I want her to look good. If you don't like it, that's fine.. If you do like it, then thank you, I've worked very hard getting this car to look how I want it to.
looks good...but what r u gonna say when some1 asks u if its a TA or not
Just going to tell them the truth, it's a Firebird with a V6.
Some time down the road when I have a place of my own with a good sized garage and a good paying job, then it's going to be getting a V8 swap. For now, I just want it to look good. I don't plan on getting rid of it any time soon.
Looks good, im personally doing the same thing, i have t/a rear bumper, hatch, and in the future ws6 hood.
You cant go wrong with the hatch, the t/a high rise hatch just looks 10x better no matter what, im keeping my front end though, i dont mind the 98-02 front bumpers.
now write "Trans bird" on the back
then throw some awesome under the hood, and your good to go. Stay away from imports at stoplights...they may embarrass you

I don't condone street racing, so coming to a red light next to an import (or any other car for that matter) is the last thing I'm worried about. Also I don't take it to the track either. It's slow, I know that. So it's not like I have anything to prove.
I'm eventually going to get that done, along with some honeycomb tail lights as well. I'm sick of these grid style lights. The delamination issue with them is just ridiculous. If you notice the before pictures I had nightshaded lights.. well the whole lens became so loosely attached to the rest of the housing that they just flooded with water. The ones I have on now are my backup set that I'm saving since they're in very good condition. I'm also going to be getting new rear PONTIAC letter put on as well. Should look really good by the time I'm through.
Thanks for the compliments and suggestions everyone!
no offense intended, but I'm not a fan of that look.
I would've gone with the other hood (actually i did)
but im just not into the 93-97 T/A appearance....
Yeah I really wanted the WS.6 hood, but like I said, I got this one for a great deal. I figure if I ever come across a good deal on one, then I'll snatch it up and try to sell this one and hopefully almost break even in the end.
No offense taken. I'm just more into the look of the T/A. Just looks alot more aggressive/sporty to me.
