Quick question

So I put on my blackouts today and am in the process of wetsanding my center panel, I got the faded bird out and sanded with 1000, 1500, 2000 like I found on the searches I've made but is it better to buff it with polish or put some clear on it?

buff it with some meguiars plast-x or an equivelent plastic polish
