ya after how much body work done to it...if theyre sellin it that cheap its not gonna b a OEM fit. Nor will it b ready for prime and paint

I almost bought an aftermarket SS hood.. Till I spoke with a friend of mine in Tenn. that did.. he paid $560 + shipping for this thing, not from ebay, but from some Online aftermarket sales thing.. He spent another $350 to get it smoothed out and to fit right just so he could spend another $300 on paint.

I'll just drive to Cleveland and go to the Camaro graveyard and get an OEM for $600-700 and paint the damn thing myself, atleast I'll know it'll be smooth and will fit already..

My old saying, Aftermarket Fiberglass parts, yeah they look good in the pics because someone spent the time and money, but these are our cars, and we do the work on them. get one, spend a lil money on it, but by the time its ready for paint, you'll be so pissed off that nothing fits right, you'll almost give the damn thing away.. I had a Dodge stratus with a Combat kit.. yeah yeah I know ricer, but it was actually pretty sexy. but I spent 2 weeks filling glass, sanding, moving holes finally got it mounted to check fitment and ended up just selling the damn thing for WAY LESS than I paid for it. NO MO! its OEM or nothing...

and 9 times out of 10 the photos on ebay, are stolen photos or pics of said product or LIKE said product. I seriously doubt that primed hood in the tore up box will look anything like that Factory red hood.. lol people recycle photos. but again, he might be true and just stole the red camaro photos, and slapped in 1 photo of the actual hood in the tore up box to make you think it might be painted although it says its not because some people dont read before they commit to buy..

I paid $200 for my SS hood, it was new and still gel coated gray. I primed it up white and then had it painted when they painted my car. Turned out great. I got it from a guy on craigslist who found it in a store he bought in a shed. He didn't know what is was, he first put it as a 82-92 Camaro hood, but when I saw it I knew right away it was a 93-97 hood. So I bought that up quickly. Just got to look out for the good deals.

i got mine for 200 and he gave a aftermarket bumper to me for free, still trying to sell the bumper, but mine looks and fits good
