I originally started on this project a couple weeks back on a spare panel with some Duplicolor Semi-Gloss spraypaint and primer but ended up with a batch of bad cans. The overspray was like none other and wetsanding didn't help at all. So after a couple tries I let a friend with some free time work on it while I went out of town. He finished it a couple days ago and I had the opportunity to install it last night. Of course, once the panel was finished the car needed some work done, so right now it sits in the hangar with berger panel installed. The official photo shoot will be in a couple weeks after I've had time to fix the car. But I decided to snap a quick pic of the finished product.
Now with BriteTouch primer, Duplicolor Engine Enamel (yes, engine enamel) Semi-Gloss paint, and Stainless Steel Chrome Letters. It was the only can of semi-gloss out of the Duplicolor brand we found that wasn't fouled up.
I got the fill-ins in near perfect condition from a salvage yard for $35 shipped. Way better deal than paying $100 for a new set from an online store.
