Hey i have some real bad water spots on the right side of my bird from parking next to some sprinkers every day and i can't seem to get em off! i was wondering if anyone knew any tricks to remove them on paint/chrome wheels. It's our **** irrigation water here. Any help or ideas will be greatly appreciated!!

vinegar and water 30/70 mix. Rinse with 100% water after you get the spot out. On wheels, you might also be able to use like Barkeepers Friend or similar (test on small area first). I've had success with diet coke. lol. I'm actually being serious.

after you get em clean, put down a nice thick coat of wax, it'll keep it from being so bad next time.

clay bar, or i would hit the wheels quickly with a chrome polish. I use the turtle wax one.

On a similar note. I have some hard water spots on my new side mirrors and windex isn't doing a damn thing. Anyone know something that will take them off?

It that alkaline in water that makes it hard to remove. Try an acid base liquid, perhaps the coke or other soda.

vinegar in water. Its the same concept. Your, going to have to use a weak acid or solvent. Your choice, but the solvents WILL damage your paint, and so will the acids to some extent, but rinse off afterwards and you should be good. You could probably prevent most damage with a good coat of wax beforehand, apply only to the spotted area (the window) and rinse really thoroughly.

If you don't want to use coke you can pay for expensive coke-like products, your choice. I'm serious though, diet coke is the best
