  • Waxed Firebird - Took some pics

With Hurricane Ike near Miami yesterday it was very windy and actually not too hot for once so I decided to wax my Firebird and also my wife's Mitsubishi. Of course it rained after I finished . Anyway took some pics this morning with my new Canon SD870IS camera. Let me know what you think.

          real clean car, nice job.

clear coners front/rear and blacked out tail lights would look good and both real cheap.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have seen the clear corners on ebay, but how do you blackout the tails? Night Shades, or Blackout covers???

            Thanks...

Re: Waxed Firebird - Took some pics

i nightshaded mine a whiles ago, but put too much on and the brakes lights were dim, and i didnt want to get rear-ended so i wet-sanded it back off.

nightshades is fine, just do it in light coats and dont go too nuts. i put like 4 too many coats on haha.

blackout covers would be easyer, but i know people that have them fly off going down the highway and high speed and stuff.

for some reason those stock tail lights look actually very good on your car

anyways, next time you get some $ you need to get some new rims, it is the single best thing you can do for our year firbird.

well i bought some honey combs and think they look spectacular.

it just seems like the stockers look real good on his car.
