I don't know how that is possible, im looking at my last ticket from 1/11/08 Tinted glass statute number 39:3-75 from a state trooper on the turnpike, $54 when i payed online. u had to have had something else besides tint on the ticket because i have gotten atleast 4 in the past 1.5 years and all have been 54bux
What did you end up paying for that job and can you get a REALLY close photo of the top of the rear hatch? I want to see how good they did, I was going to have Glass city in findlay do it, but they want $300 for the job, I laughed at them cuz I had my old yukon done for about $120 in Toledo. if you dont want to post the price, you can PM me with it.. Looking to get the tint done once I get the car painted in a week or so...
Thanks
Archer
I paid $120 to a local shop, and they did a perfect job.. no air bubbles or anything, and they used one piece in the back.
If anyone quotes you $300, just walk out/hang up and find a new place.

They said the back window was going to be the hardest part, I told them I would look around. lol.. and I was only going with 35% all around. just something to darken up the windows a little and shut out some of the rays.. lol
BTW, how did you shorten the radio antenna? Is there a writeup somewhere of this, or do you simply just cut it and stick the little ball back on the end?
I Unscrewed it, Took and Cut it down to where i wanted, grinded the tip to a point so the ball will fit back on, epoxied the ball back on and then painted it back black. Looks 1000000000X Better.

Thanks for the comments. I'm thinking of getting the new chrome deep dish c5 wheels. I like the deep dish c6 z06 wheels but they only come in black with a polished dish and I don't know if I want black wheels.
As far as the antenna, I just cut it down to whatever length I liked, rounded the end on a grinder (didnt put the ball back on, i think it looks gay), and then painted it black

for the tint archer no one in my town can do a good job my camaro is 35% on the driver side and passenger and 5% on the back i have gotten pulled over many times for it they test it and its legal. they left my dot matrix not tinted bc the guy said it will just peal i have found it is cheaper in the south where they do it all the time but in ohio it can be expensive and they may not do a good job at it at some places for the ant. mod just use a pair of pliers 2 pull the ball off and to cut the mast down i used a brake line tool it worked great and i forced the ball back on it looks great with a coat of black paint
