Got my tint last weekend at a very reputable shop in Toledo. I got 15% on the sides and 5% on the rear. It came out awesome. All I need now is some new wheels and I'm done with appearance.
Heres some random shots I went out and got today. Yea, the lighting is awful on some of them, but it was mid-day and I just wanted to get some with the tint.
which place did you go in Toledo? and you know the police, sheriffs dept, and HW patrol are going to have a field day with your tint. lol
I had my stratus tinted in Tenn, 20% all around and came back to ohio, they told me I should look into it, but I pulled the "kids are sensitive to the sun"card on him. lol
What did you end up paying for that job and can you get a REALLY close photo of the top of the rear hatch? I want to see how good they did, I was going to have Glass city in findlay do it, but they want $300 for the job, I laughed at them cuz I had my old yukon done for about $120 in Toledo. if you dont want to post the price, you can PM me with it.. Looking to get the tint done once I get the car painted in a week or so...

Thanks for the compliments guys. I got it done at a place called "Total Image Window Tint". Its on n. sylvania by the walmart off central. Payed 170 bucks which included a lifetime warranty and the rear was done in one piece. I was referred to them by a local car group "toledo tuners" so I think they'll give you the same price if you say they sent you.
The top of the hatch is still showing the dot matrix some but i've been going over it with my fingers everyday. My friends all said it came out after a while on their car but right now its hardly noticeable so im not too worried about it.
i had a piece of blask vinyl laid over the dots on my back window on the outside looks much better than when the tint was over the dots! def. something you should look into
Tint looks great man. What kind of wheels were you looking into getting? The chrome C5 Z06 wheels look pretty sick on NBM. That's what would be on mine if I didn't love the SS wheels so much. :rock:
BTW, how did you shorten the radio antenna? Is there a writeup somewhere of this, or do you simply just cut it and stick the little ball back on the end?
I got a ticket for my tint and had to take it off the first week I got my car. Stupid NJ laws
