I figured Id make a separate threat of new pics. These are the best one from today. Im trying to work on my photo skills and I learn something each time I do a photo shoot. Comments/suggestion welcome. I DD this car so thats why the front plate is on...i have to get a seperate grill for photo ops, that grill is cut to fit the plate holder and so if i took just the holder odd u would see some missing grill...
I redid the intake a while ago, got a nice pick up in power from it too with the k&n cone filter and cause i got rid of the flow restricting elbow. The line from the crank case didn't exactly fit well to the new shorter elbow so i cut it and put a filter on it. It was drawing air from the filter anyway, I have had no ill effects since doing it. It was like that for several thousand miles and when my mechanic went in and did the cam install he said all the internals looked great, car ran and still runs great so just a personal preference really to make the intake overhaul easier.
Very nice. I never realized how small the 3.4 looks in the engine bay though.
Tell me, how did you modify the license plate bracket to work over the billet grille? I have the grille and want to do the same thing since front plates are required here in NY.

isnt' there a "supposed" adverse effect to doing it tho?

Yea the engine is so small, but packs a mean punch.
For the grill take your dremel and metal cutout wheel and cut the section behind the plate. U wont see it when the plate in installed. Also the holder sides will need to be trimmed about an inch, you'll see what im talking about when u do it.

supposed is the key word and off the top of my head i cant think of it right now. The only think i can think of is not i know for sure I'm pulling in hot air to the vacuum system instead of colder air from the CAI. I noticed no difference wither way.
If it was a big deal my mechanic would have said something to me about it.
Thanks, never gets old. Look in the sig, click on the link - I need a catback or staight pipes, or duals, something...sounds nasty at idle though - i love how it sounds as i back out my driveway
Hey everyone! I've been trying to remove my transmission for two days now! I need to replace the clutch. Only thing I've got left holding the transmission...
Hello, so I changed the front bearings on the bird and the ABS inoperative light came on. I made a mistake of not removing negative battery cable. Now...
I usually have to double, triple my headlight switch for them to come up on my 97 Firebird. I cleaned all connections. Could it be the headlight switch...
