My salad shooters are starting to get on my nerves. Paint is peeling and brake dust is stainging them. I have read about 7-8 different posts about painting the rims. However, I do not think that black would look good with a white maro.
Anyone care to photoshop some white rims, or maybe a different shade of silver...please?
I saw another photo with the black rims somewhere here on the board, and it was a little too much...just didnt mesh well. It might look better if I had some t-tops, since I would have more black on the top of the car to balance it out. But with the white top, all black on the rims/tires just doesn't look right.
It's all personal preference...
It really does come down to personal preference. I see now as the perfect time to add black accents to make the black salad shooters blend in. However, if your against the look, I really honestly can't say I've seen any other finish look good on those rims other than chrome.
The thing that I am worried about with the white is not being able to match the alpine white color of the car. I might just redo the silver and clear coat them, even though that would be boring.
Mostly I am doing it so that when I sell the car, it will be as appealing as possible. I am trying to fix all the crap the previous owner never did.
Thanks for all the suggestions, and who knows, I may just change my mind about the color and go with a flat black or a dark smoke color.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
