Anyone replaced a rear quarterpanel on a 97 Firebird? How difficult is it? Thanks.

it involves cutting the old one off, matching the bodylines up clamping the new one up, more matching, and welding

it will probably be much cheaper to get it pounded out, and repainted if it is really bad

has to be done almost perfect, you can weld a twist in your car easyer than you think, and the car will never go down the road straight.

the 1/4 panels are structural supports and should be done on the frame rack by a pro who knows what they're doing. not something you want to do in your driveway.

Car hit in quarter panel resulting in quarter panel needing replacement = totaled f-body by insurance standards.
