So it looks like my paint is fading or something on the back behind the driver side door. Is there any way of Polishing it out or something without having to paint the car?

ya, the clear coat's about to go on ya. You could try some polish but you'll have to really work it in there, and it may just speed up the peeling of the clear coat.
used some 3M Rubing Compound o and polished and waxed it up looks to come up pretty good. Still some on there I'm gonna go over it again tommorow. Hopefully it wont come back and its really gone.
