do yall 320 grit would be ok to scuff the turn signals and side markers?
I would not do 320 grit. you will see the scratches made from that grit through the nightshades. I usually use about 600 to get them smooth and get the barcode off them. Then follow up with nightshades 3-4 coats. Let dry and buff. Clear really isnt needed if you know how to buff them.
a set i did for Shadowguy, they look alot darker in person.
1997 Camaro LS1 RS
1994 Camaro - Sold
1999 Trans am Vert - Sold
I learned the hard way. After getting a shyte-load of runs the first application, I tried to wetsand then buff them. The VHT stuff doesn't like to be wetsanded OR buffed! It can be done, it just doesn't like it. I stripped all of it off using Lacquer Thinner and started all over again.
Not sure if you've read this, but it may help with some other questions you may have. It's for niteshading tail lights, but can be applied to turn signals and marker lights.
