12000K would be damn near purple.

12,000K is more for looks, not for seeing very well at night. Try 4300, 6000, or maybe even 8000K.

my 12000k are not purple they are light blue and they are brand new

12000k is pretty purple. If yours aren't even slightly purple, then they aren't 12000k. light blue is 6-8000k.

well they are brand new and thats what the ballast say 12000k so oh well
