Got my SS spoiler put on today , pretty simple. Didn't have to do the resistor on it either. But I noticed my old wiring was blue and black wiring for the light, but when I replaced the stock spoiler about a year ago with a 2000 spoiler the wiring was yellow and black, so i'm thinking thats why I didn't have to use a resistor. Also I noticed the 2 pillars don't go all the way down to the bottom of the hatch 1/8" maybe 1/4" gap, is that normal? Just wondering, thanks Steve

If it's an ebay spoiler, like from thespoilercompany, then you can cut out some of the foam insulation that sits under the posts of it to let it sit flush. I remember reading a couple threads about how theirs didn't sit flush without a little adjustment.

Thor, I will be getting my car painted Black in a week or so hopefully, maybe I'll have to wait until after the holidays, but it will be soon as posible. The spoiler will have to come off for paint anyways so maybe I'll take anothr look to see if I can get it closer.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
