New paint job on front!

Okay so long story short i wrecked the bird back in october lost it in the rain... (i just love our light *** rear ends with the good ole peg leg). I demolished the front end running it up against the ditch so i bought a new one and a paint gun and some paint and a crap load of sand paper and went to town. My girlfriends dad painted my front end (2 years ago) i watched him but i didnt like how the paint never matched so i decided to take that off and do something different with the bird... and so i did!

Took me three tries on each fender to get all the runs out and to get a smooth finish but i cant complain for first time ever picking up a paint gun. Dont ast me where i got the idea of starting the black stripe at the front end but it just clicked in my head cause i was painting both at the same time. Let me know what you guys think!

Looks good.. not really digging the black stripe portion on the bumper nose areas, but overall it looks great. I'd bet a silver pinstripe breaking up the stripes from the red would make it really pop though.

Thats impressive for using a paint gun for the first time. I wish I could do that so I could redo my front bumper cover. I like how you filled in the license plate cover.

I don't know if you were taliking about mine , where I molded my front ground effects on my Camaro, and I had my CAMARO in the rear fiberglassed in , just waiting for it to come back from paint on Mon. going from white to black.

I'm not really a fan of stripes or decals myself, which is why I have never had any on my car but the red and black really looks good. Can't go wrong with black.LOL

I sold my corvette rims because i couldnt afford 1100 dollars in tires cause they were 17x11 all four rims. I got ws6 chrome set of rims with tires with the money but i took my old stock silver painted rims and i painted them jet black same color as hood but i need to buy tires for them before i can put them on.

Then i was thinking about the painting the high raise spoiler only black :banana:. There is a white ta that drives around town with black spoiler i think it looks nice. Im pretty happy with front end but my gf doesnt think a car should have two different colors...

That looks good. Years ago, someone did something like that, but the front edges were rounded - some folks said it looked like the Firebird had a runny nose.
