Re: HID Conversion Kits
any 9006/9005 HID conversion kit is technically an HID conversion kit that would work on a 96 camaro, however, there are currently no projector, or even HID friendly housings that maintain stock appearance on the car. What I ended up doing in my quest for the best lighting is put Hella 90mm projectors with 6000k HIDs in place of the foglights (a common upgrade for the best lighting, but losing the stock appearance [since they are in the foglight area, the appearance is hardly changed]) and Hella FF75s in place of the headlights, with silverstar ultra bulbs. The combination provides an immense upgrade from all angles, and a great look improvement as well.

Re: HID Conversion Kits
I just used my stock housing with 6000K HID's and siliconed them in for the low beams. The fog lights I did with 6000K HID's also which were straight plug in. The only thing is don't order the HID kit from Hong Kong , I did and got burnt on 1 set. I got my other sets from a guy in CA. no problems at all for $65-$75. But I like how Gr8Schlotzky did his in the fog and headlight setup. Also I have covers on mine which dim the light more so I don't get flashed by other drivers.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine
