because your v6 is slow as balls, you look like a little kid, anyone (with brains) can tell its a v6 from the sound, and also when you lose to a honda or a caviler it makes us Z owners look bad because now the ricer jumps on a forums and talks about he killed a z28/ss

well i know my v6 is slow as balls that why i have an iroc. well i think it looks cool and sometimes it just seems to me that the guys with huge wings on their camaros get less crap than guys with ss emblems and so far not one person i know realized it wasnt a real ss until i told them. And my wheels do have the ss emblems in them.

I saw a little red v6 with SS badges once at a used car lot. A friend and I pulled in and asked the guy why a v6 was badged that way. He said it had been one of his own cars and it just looked too good to not have them on there. It looked retarded. He said that all these people came in interested in the "SS", but once he told them it was a v6 and the price, they turned and walked out. He said that I was the first person to recognize it as it truly was. The next day he had pulled it from the lot and I haven't seen it since.

Putting Z28 or SS badges on a v6 or posing makes the driver look bad and reflects an image back onto other v6 drivers. You're only going to impress the ignorant and disappoint enthusiasts. Anyone that knows these cars will see the single exhaust tip, hear the raspy exhaust tone, notice a huge lack of performance, possibly even see the gauge cluster with 125mph speedo and laugh. Personally, I'm going to give more hell to the person with SS or Z28 badges on their v6 than the person with a huge wing on their car. Because at least the guy with wing on his car isn't trying to pass it off as a V8. Can't even imagine what kind of hell you'd be given should you come up against a real Z28 or SS.

well thats most likely because it was at a dealer where anyone looking for an ss would ask about the car if it had the emblems on it. so why wouldn't somebody walk out when he told them it was a v6? And you must feel real cool since he pulled it off the lot and everything. First of all, what do you people do that you have time to post like this al the time. Me, i have food poisoning and cant go to school. I dont even have time to post on here and im 17. Personally i love the look of the ss from the wheels to the EMBLEMS to even the SS FLOOR mats so i put all of them on. But even better, i enjoy the cheap insurance of my mint 88 iroc that ran 13.6 on street tires and v6 camaro that still cost less that that of an ls/lt car. Let alone the gas i save not driving my real hot rod everyday.

hoping with sticky tires to hit a low 13 this summer. and also i was working 60 hours a week, but i got laid off...
