the gap between the rear quarter panel and the tires is really bothering me..any way to fix this other than new wheels/tires or the same size wheels with a higher offset? i thought about wheel spacers too but read some bad things about them. or maybe lowering the car would make it look a little better. any suggestions?

Re: fender gap
wheel spacers are fine as long as they have their own studs. What you don't want it to use 1/2 inch spacers on the stock studs and only have 2 threads holding on your wheels. You'll likely need to grind off the tips of your studs if you use the spacers, but they aren't expensive to replace should you want to get rid of the spacers. 3/4" to 1" is probably what you'll want if you're using stock wheels. Lowering the car will reduce fender gap, but IMO the stock wheels have too much positive offset to look right on a lowered car. The other option is to get longer studs and studless spacers, that way there will be no grinding.
