Well the motor is all in. Still have some things to work out but here are some pics. Countless dollars were spent on this car along with tons of time and numerous frustration "choice words"

Engine bay stock when i bought it in 04 with the 3.8l

Modded, taken a few months before i pulled it

Re: Engine bay from 2004 to 2009

what did you end up paying for the motor and trans? I know it varies. a good LS1 ranges up here from $1800- $5000 with trans, wires, and PCM.. I have a K member already I picked up over the weekend... Im starting to piece things together... I'm going to do the poser thing and replicate a ZL1 with out the LS6 and other perform goods... (im poor).

But there are 2 berger white faced gauge plates that replace your black one on ebay right now going at a decent price if you want to look at that. if the tach and speedo work fine then it should work

what sucks is I dont have a throttle cable, so I'd have to find and run all that crap.

If you held out for a 2001 or 02 it would have come with the LS6 intake and not had an EGR, but you did away with that.

damn dude, that is a clean @ss car... the only thing that could improve the looks of it, is to put a cowl hood or ss or somthing. Thats also a clean install. Welcome to the LS1 club bud.
