        Re: new *FIREBIRD* Badges

well i bought the one from a guy on ebay who own's a firebird/camaro parts shop and then i asked him if he had a second one he could get me to complete the pair so he had to get it from another place so i could buy 2 at once.

either way, i think 20$ per brand new gm emblem was a reasonable price. just look at the difference in looks!

        btw, nice bird!

i was gonna ask the same thing.

i'm not gonna lie, i'm still kind of undecided on it.

I'll add to that. Those grille inserts are sweet. They may save the fog lights too. Info, please!

                  Re: new *FIREBIRD* Badges

it was fairly simple but took quite some time. i bought some mesh material and used a box from a 12 pack of soda and slowly marked and cut the box up until it fit into the holes pretty good. i then used a sharpie and traced the templated onto the grille material. use some scissors and slowly cut it all out. i then used a weather stripping with a sticky back (bout an inch thick), cut a line in the middle with a box knife, stuck it up inside, and then tucked the grille up inside. all of that of course being cautious before actually sticking anything permanently. its been in there quite a while now and hasnt come loose or anything. ill get more pics up later

^LOL damm :omg: , I bought my grill on ebay , for a Camaro though , don't know if they have them for Firebirds. Ebay one came out great though it did protect my fog lights better, plus I have plastic protectors on them from RKsport. But the fogs are coming out anyway and more cutting for the intercooler to be fed. I love grills but I hate when it is over done like on the imports where if there is a hole opening the put meshing everywhere so it stands out.
