the Firebird badges are stupid in that they are the exact same color as the paint of the car, so it's pretty difficult to see them unless you are up close.

here's a good example of what i'm talking about. This is a red firebird/TA/Formula with red badges on it, you can't really see them that well and they don't add to the car, astheticly speaking that is.



so being that you could barely see my "FIREBIRD" badges i bought some white auto paint and painted inside the grooves of the letters. It definitely made it stand out where as before you could barely notice the badge.

here's a pic of that.



now the only problem with this route is that i suffered from lack of quality. If you got up within a couple feet you could easily see what a poopy job it really was.

so now i got a little creative

i decided to buy a set of stock white FIREBIRD badges and slap em on. I'm not gonna lie they were more expensive then i wanted to pay (40$ for the set) but when you see the results you will probably agree it was worth it,especially since they are hard to come by brand new.

so now they look great from far away or up close shown here:

eh, vinyl falls of eventually depending on how good the stuff is. either way, i know

these will last a long time.

bet those black emblems weren't even noticeable before you put on the new vinyl.

wow $40 for some plastic ones....yikes lol. i paid like 55 for my polished ones that are just like chrome. heres a decent shot where you can see it.
