Turtle wax black box I 2nd it

So I bouht 2 of these boxes, 1 for me and 1 for the wife. So far I have done the front fenders and the hood this stuff is outstanding. I had it cleaaned up on Sat. with a light wax, looked like they wipe it on and off so quick I wa surprised it came out looking decent. I can only do about 1-2 panels and have to stop and wait for another day. I went to the Dr. on Wed. and when I came out you could just see the shine on it looked outstanding. This is why I have had it 13 years , never get tired of it. I like this stuff because of the conditioner you put on it then wipe it clean and put the Carnuba wax on it. So I second Thors opinion on this stuff. Great wax for black vehicles. the big test will be the wifes 07' 3.5 Saturn Vue it hasn't been waxed or really cleaned since she got it about a year and a half.

Just for sh*ts & giggles, I'd like to try it on my silver metallic GTO. A small panel just to see what it would look like. It would be awesome if it came out like a darker type of silver metallic, almost like a light-colored gunmetal. :rock:

NO, I wouldn't the conditioner and the wax is black in color like a dye, I think it would leave just a black coat on any other color than black.

Oh, ok. I didn't know what it contained. I'll stick with my Pinnacle Souveran Wax then. Thanks for the heads-up :D

Wax AND conditioner??? Sounds like your car is getting a bikini wax & it's hair washed.

Lost track of the last thread, I've been to autozone a couple times and saw that box and went to look for the final opinion. Definitely going to pick up a box next time I'm at the zone.

Glad you like it. Darn thing took me over 5 hours to do my whole car. It's been almost a month now and my car is still shiny. When I visited my parents last week my dad turned on the sprinklers. I was devasted to see my whole car wet. But man that thing beads like crazy and I was able to easily wipe it.

I will do the '89 Bird next. Now the black on that one is really faded. We'll see how good this thing works. I just need to make sure I eat 10,000 calories the day before. Because once I get started, I don't stop.

It takes me awhile , I can only do a panel or 2 at a time and I'm done until I feel better again to do some more, so maybe this week I will finish it up. The sides aren't too bad , I just sit in a chair and do it , the hood really killed me. I'm going to do the roof next and then the rest will be easy. I'll post pics when I'm done. I really like this stuff though.

I bought it yesterday and did it today...took about 4ish hours. Car looked great, it certainly made my chip forest on my front bumper less visible from the pre cleaner. I have to say, I like the spray detailer and I only used one of the two bottles. Likely Ruined three of my microfibers though :P Car looked great and I took it out for pictures, everything was fine til he decided he didn't want to start out of the blue. Had to have'm towed home. Thinking the starter solenoid or ignition switch is bad. At least insurance covered the towing..and the car looks nice:P

I guess you can tell the people that inquires as to why your car is being towed that it looks too nice to be driven.

im gonna pick it up for sure, maybe it will help cover the little rock chips i have on my hood so they arent noticable

Starter was dead. Battery was fine, even tried a jump because it went out like a dieing battery. Starting a pic thread now..
