i just got the $200 hood painted by a friend of the in-laws for 75 quid. and yes the underside is just as nice as the top ;) I also deleted the silencer and ran my dry nozzle into it and did the heater hose mod today, so quite the modding day for the camaro.
sorry for the tiny pics i resized them before uploading to photobucket. i will fix that latter but the paint matches really well and the hood fits really good also
Looks great, take some ABS plastic and cut out a peice to put where the blank hole is for on the scoop and take plastic gutter fencing and cut it to fit the ABS plastic. Spray glue them toghther paint it gloss black and use double sided tape to attach it to the opening. Worked well for my car if you look at my cardomain page.

the hole is cut open, i plan on making some sort of grille for it. I could take the weather strip from my slp ram air intake off of the bottom of the lid and make it functional but i really doubt it would be worth a damn ya know
I hear ya, I might have mine routed to the turbo to cool it while driving, will see though. Got too many projects going on right now.

paint the inside of the "intake" black, get some anniversary stripes and your set!
funny you mentioned that, the guy i bought the hood from suggested painting the inside black. i thought about silver anniversary stripes but i think im keeping the appearance mods subtle.
