I don't know if any of you guys have heard of this, but its a garage door seal stuck to the bumper like a lip kit. I've a lot of pictures of cars done with this but can't find anyone who has done it with a camaro. So if you have some pics of it postem.

This is what I'm talking about.

My honest opinion? Maybe because it would look horrible on a Camaro? The body isn't even close to the right shape to "pull it off," as that car "does." Even if it were "the right shape," it is pointless and stupid.. :)

yeah dude, this is an F-body site. Ricer's would try to pull off a stunt like that.

i work at home depot, people come in wanting to buy "diamond mesh" so that they can cut it and make grills for their imports.

Hey now , I used the mesh to make a screen painted black for my SS hood , I wasn't paying $50 for a stainless steel one and then paint it black, because I don't like the stainless look on the black hood. I actually used gutter mesh I think , it is plastic and came out decent. Its all about style and how you use it, like my front bumper is cut out for my intercooler and I have a black mesh grill to cover it up and also to protect it from rocks etc.

I, like ssms, have a use for that. I plan to use it for the defrost vent on the dash. Im going to do the vinyl fix (mines cracked) but the slats are all broken up. So that would be the next best thing

OP: In my opinion, I think it looks pretty damn good... On that car... Doesn't flow at all with any F-body...

That is funny as hell LOL, I already used mine for my dash vent because it crack and crumbled to peices. I painted it black and double sided taped it under the dash mat so it stays in place and doesn't look bad at all. They want $220 for a new plastic peice and everyone I try to find is cracked so I used plastic mesh painted black.

Dude! Can you send me some pics? Did you do the vinyl thing or is it one of those carpet things? And I thought I was being original  LOL

OP: sorry to thread jack, at least I contributed :D

It might be the vinyl and I painted it black and put it under the dash mat so it hides the edges. I'll see if I have a pic for ya. Here you can see it a little bit , I didn't do a really dark black so it would stand out. The interior was dirty then, I have new seats and new floor mats and it is cleaned up.LOL

Hell, yeah! 6LE makes some badass splitters for f-bods., way better than a "body kit", and you don't have to worry about clearance/scraping as much. :)

do you think that would work for a 97 firebird?
