Neither. Both are 3800's. I originally had the 02/silver and wanted to mod it. Well that would require some downtime which I cannot have with work. So my brother was selling his 98/black so I bought it from him. I knew what was wrong with it, how he drove it, how it was taken care of, and I helped my brother keep his house. Would I like to have a z28? Of course. Do I regret buying another v6? Not at all, since it helped my brother out when he was in a tight spot.
I was thinking about getting a whole new paintjob for the car but damn.. I cannot believe what this black box did. Completely worth the time spent applying it.
When are you guys coming to AZ thi summer so we can get some pics, in the 115 degree heat?

Nite shades my friend. Nite shades.
Here's a link, http://www.jegs.com/i/VHT/322/SP999/10002/-1
It's cheaper at other places too apparently. After doing the actual nite shades spray, I took some sandpaper to it, up to like 1000 grit and sprayed it with some clear coat. I'm not satisfied with it as this was the first "painting" and sanding I've ever done.

It's not that bad when it comes to sticking out. I did use a thinner tape instead of their tape. This is what mine looks like with the AVS smoke cover:
that night shades stuff looks pretty neat. i'll see if any ofmy local stores carries it and pick up some 1000 grit. wouldjsut a spray clear work?
Thor- that looks pretty good. you said you stuck it on with tape?! what kind?
did/do they not make one for the center?
i've got the honeycomb lights, which are fine for the sides (i guess) but the bright red "firebird" and screamin chicken in the middle are starting to bug me. :)

Might want to pick up a 400, 800 and 1000ish grit. work you're way up as needed.
