According to my last pic. Do you think it looks fixable? I did not do the conversion. I didn't do anything whatsoever related to it except now trying to make it look better.

I dont feel like I ruined it as long as everything can be fixed and looking good.

After playing with it for about a half hour this is what I ended up with. Looks better, but still not perfect. Any idea's? If I just put my thumb under that little rain drip piece(yellow oval) and push up it looks perfect. I cant get it to stay like that and then it sags a bit like pictured. My drivers side one does not sag and is almost perfect. All the pieces line up great, there is just a 1/8th of an inch gap between the bottom of the weatherstripping.

I will be putting the car in a body shop once I find a job. The guy was highly recommended for body work on LS1Tech and I was told theres nothing he cant fix. That really reassures me and I just cant find to find a damn job lol.

I'm planning on doing mine at the end of the month. This is the kind of stuff that scares me.

I don't want to come off as being ignorant here, but I'll bet you I'd be able to fix that for you. I just wished you lived closer. Maybe this is a good excuse to take a vacation to my home state again...???

It will take some patience, but weatherstripping isn't that hard to work with. Now, I don't know what the rest of it looks like, meaning if it's cracked, stretched, broken, etc., but you'll need to tuck that section up under the windshield some more. How? By re-adjusting (pulling) the rest of the weatherstripping that goes around the t-top all the way to the rear quarterpanel. Did the guy use any silicone to adhere the weatherstripping in-place? If so, that seal will need to be broken to adjust the rest of it.

You'll probably have to drill two more holes. One for the screw on the top rubber part, and the other for the plastic piece that holds the locking mechanism for the t-tops.

Kristen's camaro needed some bond-o when she did her conversion, but I have talked to others who've said they didn't need it at all. I guess it just depends on how the roof was cut (or whatnot).

Don't get frustrated here. You can do this, just use your head and think things out before you get pissed. You may have to use some body filler, and the only way to learn how to do it is to sometimes...well...just do it! It's sandable, so you can basically erase any mistakes you've with some sandpaper. Maybe you'll lean a thing-or-two along the way. We all have to start somewhere.

If you seriously came down here and fixed it that would be FREAKING AWESOME!

That's one thing that really sucks. There are almost no good t-top conversion guys in the state of Florida from what I've seen.

The guy didn't seal anything. The damn weatherstripping isn't even bolted into the body. He didn't even TRY to get the weatherstripping perfect. It seemed like he could care less. He put it on the first time and didn't mess with it at all. I just wish there was an expert in Florida.

You'll still need to re-adjust the rest of the rubber going back, aound the frame and towards the rear of the car, but here's what I'm thinking for the solution up front:

That is so damn tempting. I just wish it wasn't such a looong ride. I wish one of you guys lived in Florida or much closer to Florida. :(
