I've been working on the 'maro pretty consistantly now that my spring "mod fever" has kicked in....here's some updates of my progress since I think I just missed the carshow thread entry time:

double adj. aluminum j&m lca's w/ weld-in relo's (and adj. panhard/subframe connectors welded in)

old flowmaster exhaust/high flow cat with z28 tips (had seen better days)

badlandz electric cutout is calling ---->going in next week.

passenger signal bulb got too hot and warped the gasket so water got in and shattered the bulb...new smoked corners and led bulbs on the way.

wow that's a really clean looking car. and i absolutely love those rims on your car. that's what i'm going to do eventually. i think they just look so clean. and right.

looks sweet 1 thing to is the fron licence plate i always get pulled over and get warnings mabey you could mount it on the valence mabey they will still pull you over to me its worth it to get pulled over a few times to not have it but they only give warnigns here

lovin the rims and the rubber.

its crazy how JUST RUBBER can change the stance and look of a camaro.

beleive it or not.

but i just found 4 brand new good year 255s on a 3.4 !!! in the junk yard haha.


it was funny cause.

it was all stock..
like what the hell were they doing.


putting 255s on a 3.4 stock camaro?

they could only dream of spinning them ahah./

but anyways.

question tho, where did you get the shorty antenna?

It looks homemade to me, could be wrong though.

You use pliers to get the little ball off. Cut it to desired length. File the tip down a bit, and then superglue the ball back on.

There are several places to buy them though.

oh if you only knew how much i loath that damn license plate having to be on in virginia, it's the one thing i cant stand about my own car haha. i've tested different methods of moving it and even going without it for a weekend once---cops were eyeballing my every move. i'm about to buy a used suv to DD instead of this so maybe i'll change it up once i'm not driving it so much. for now tho, she draws too much attention to move the plate and give cops a reason to check out my car...i'm about to put in a cutout next week so cops need to keep away haha.

ya know i've never considered that on mine---it's worth looking into tho. i definitely have plans for a SS spoiler and possibly the mid-90's taillights with a bit of VHT nightshade, so that would probly look great with those. you could be onto something sir....

thanks man, the antenna is actually from afterthoughtsauto.com. 8" shorty.

no homemade rigging here, bought a real one. if i went black berger panel i gotta nightshade the taillights to even things up and i was looking into doing the sequential light kit if i go back to the 90's taillight style.

LED signal bulbs
stainless steel brushed doorsills with "camaro" lettering (afterthoughtsauto.com)
zexel or auburn lsd w/ 3.73's
dyno tune
SS spoiler
34/21 sway bars
berger panel?

mods to come later:

suncoast SS hood
abbott stage 3 racing heads
abbott n/a cam or GT2
supporting valvetrain
fuel pump/injectors
FI?


any other suggestions big or small are more than welcome---the berger panel idea has my interest (thanks unvmyrs & stevethepirate). i'm about to get her dynotuned definitely before summer, does anyone recommend a good place in virginia? I looked at a shop in Fredericksburg called "Promotion Tuning" that does work on f-bodies and even custom turbo installs :excited:
