im in the market for some rims for my firebird. just looking to see what rims look the best on the pewter cars?

This is all going to be a personal preference. I like chrome or polished rims on most f-body's, but other's may recommend something else.

Also, what kind of money are you looking to spend? Do you want factory or aftermarket? Do you want to upgrade the size and tires, or do you want to keep your stock tires?

I have Hyper Black C6 style and they look great.






I had Polished 17" WS6 Rims and they looked great




I also had Chrome Factory 16"s and they looked good.

You remeber the wheels I had? They were on the bird but i put them on The Z when I sold it. You can get a set just like that off of E-you knw the rest. Dont think Im allowed to post. They have some nice deep dish setting that stand out from the rest. They go from 570-700, Id say get the chrome.

Ill post more pics if you need. OEwheels on eblay sells the similar set.

WOW, that is a nice vert. I love it. Nicest CETA clone i've ever seen actually...
Now I know someone will yell at me for this, but I'm just putting it out there... You could get 17" chrome SS wheels, take the SS sticker off of them and put a bird sticker. I wonder how that would look. here....



And chevy250forme, what happened to the front of your car? You crash it? The paint doesn't match at all and the hood looks like its warped. The spoilers paint doesn't match either. Was that one of those "buy a pre-painted part on ebay" deals?? If a body shop did that i'd SCREAM. Just wondering. There's a story behind every car...

If you have black top and lack mirrors I think the black w/ crome lip look great.

The hood didnt have any clear coat. The fenders look like they dont match b/c of the bent tab at the bottom. 99% of f-bodys have bent tabs from shops not knowing how lift our cars. The car was a fully custom pewter metallic with flip flop pearls and light chameleon tint. (had to see it in person).
