The rotors weren't cheap.. R1 concepts, drilled and slotted. Bought them unused from another member of the board. It was the first undramatic purchase I've made from another member of this board thank God. I have them installed backwards. I have the lefts on the right side and the rights on the left...
Anyways, the red caliper paint I did myself. That paint was different from any I've used before. No priming and it turns really hard. While it's drying it reacts kinda like melted plastic but straight out of the can it's really thin and runny. Red calipers would look really good on your car ballermaro.
I think R1's the disc go either side because on mine they didn't have a left or right so you should be fine. The Power Slot rotors I got are marked left and right. Looks good for a 98-02 model , almost as good as mine.LOL I like the wheels, I was going to get them over the ZR1's but the wife like the chrome ZR1's over them. Great job. Me and Meatshells will have to support the desert landscape background with a few catus and dirt.LOL Again Team Black FTW!!!!!!!!
08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine

Did I ever tell you how great it was that you came over to the dark side? I'm sure you've figured that out though.
Apparently on the slotted rotors the slot is suppose to go from the inner edge to the outer. Now I'm sure it won't make any real difference.. But ever since my Dad pointed it out to me it's been on my mind. He even pointed out the fact that it was going to bug me till I changed them around.
Ok, we have greenery.. desert.. We need some beach side pics. Not lake side. The F'n ocean kinda beach pics where I feel warmer just by looking at them.
Btw, the AC delete was a big ol mistake. I'm puttin that stuff back in when I have the time. My time is sadly controlled by my gf's schedule no matter how much she denies it. Pffftt.. I can sit here and do nothing in my room and she'd be happier with that rather than hanging outside if I'm working on my car. Jealous. /rant.

yeah new rotors are definitely on the to-do list, my rear ones have seen better days. did you notice any benefit in the upgrade? i know our brakes are decent if you have the ls1 4-disc setup, so i figured an upgrade will be more about looks than absolute stopping performance (which i dont mind---i love the look of slotted/drilled) when i do, i'm highly considering trying to match the caliper paint to the body color---i've seen it once before with my color and it looked fantastic.

lol i hear ya man, my girl loves my car, but hates how much time i spend toying with it and researching what i plan to do next. but she's come to the conclusion that the more i spend on the 'maro now, the bigger her closet gets to be when we get a house haha :omg:
Honestly, I was buying the rotors in hopes that they wouldn't warp. If you buy the stock rotors they'll definitely last longer but the ones I've been buying have been warping way too soon. So I splurged on some good ones. Didn't really notice a braking difference. But they look damn hot.
OK!!!!!!!!! Kristen your grille wins. I don't like the look with no grille.. I don't like the billet grilles. I tried taking mine tonight and painting it just so it's nice and shiny and sleek. Didn't work out. I'm so bad with spray cans. Anyways, we should make a group effort to find the website that has that grille at the lowest price :D

Eh.. I found one at the same price with like a dollar for shipping. They're all 213!! That's quite a bit for that piece of plastic. I think I'll just sport the naked look for awhile.
Yeah I wouldn't have to freakin worry about it if things had originally gone to plan and I found a firebird. But that's apparently the way the cookie crumbles over here. Turned out for the best except that piece of plastic.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
