Broken Dash Fix

Well my dash broke a long time ago and I am going to try and glue it together fiberglass the underside and cover it in black vinyl. Here are some pics of how its going.






The type of glue I used was bought at a Hobby shop and I used an accelerator spray to dry it faster.

Here is also a pic of the underisde with fiberglass to give it some support on the cracks. try not to laugh its my first time using fiberglass and it looks really bad. But it really holds well with the plastic and makes it alot sturdier.



So now I am going to cover the topside with vinyl.

Thanks, I've seen quiet a few people on LS1tech do it even when the dash isn't broke.. by the way my thread on how to fix the dash is also on ls1tech in the appearance hall of fame.

You can get a new dash pad for $40... I doubt it

Yes I have a borken dash borad as well now I know how to get it fixed great.
