  • Body kit/RS effects

With my T-Top conversion out of the way I figure my next is going to be to repaint the car in the next couple of months but I don't want to get the car just repainted and leave the basic look on it I want to "Spice" it up a bit:stp: I just don't dig the basic look.

Here's where my car is at its current state

    Very basic, very boring

I've always wanted RS ground effects on a camaro, I have even thought about doing my car after the ZL1 Concept. I've also been looking into the Victory body kit as well, has anyone had any experience with bodykits on a camaro?.

I know I only have one shot to do this right the first time around.

Your car would look badass if you painted the roof black including (or not) mirrors, did the berger panel, blacked out your lights, and got some wheels. If your dead set on having some kind of GFX, I'd go for the splitters I think it's 6LITEREATER is making on LS1tech. He's got them for the front and sides at least I know, and I think it looks much better than a body kit. But on the other hand, I hate body kits.

The RS Body kits can be really hard to find, they pop up on ebay every now and then and usually go for $100+ per piece

I was planning on doing export tail lamps instead of doing blacked out lights. I really like the widebody kit that 6litereater is doing. :) but I donno know how or where to get it.

Export tail lights are pretty cool, I will agree, but have you price checked recently? Ridiculously expensive.

Yeah they are but well worth it especially when you know you'll be the only one with them on for miles.:excited:

Exports are expensive, but can be found at better prices used. I actually found a nos driver's side export light for $150 on ebay a couple weeks. Kind of wish I'd bought it, but oh well.

As far as 6LE's wide body kit, I'm not sure if he's going to do that anymore. I believe he stopped offering it due to lack of interest.

I did mine through a local privateer here in the Springs, his name is Scott at S@M automotive i very small owned garage. He had a firebird donor car when he did mine. His cost to me was $500 including parts and labor. had it done within 4days total.

I'm very impressed with his work.

Damn!. Well it was worth a shot.

I'm leaning towards either the RS ground effects or the complete Victory bodykit at this point.
