  • Berger Panel?

I see it in pictures of Camaros on here every now and then and I personally think it looks tight as hell, I think it would look really good on my Red 96

now can someone give me some insight on how exactly you either get one or do it yourself?

    Re: Berger Panel?

Take your panel off by removing the trunk panels and your tail lights, and getting the bolts from the inside, then surface sand yours and spray it black.

      did a quick search:
      http://forum.camarov6.com/showthread...t=berger+panel

this is the same guide i used when i painted mine.

removal is just open your hatch, remove the carpet molding and you'll see maybe 4 twist bolts, 2 on each tail light, remove those, take the tail light off and the bulbs/wiring, and the panel should come off.

Not quite. You'll need to get the 10mm bolts off from the center area as well as the far edges below the tail lights. I think there are just the 4 bolts aside from the 4 wing nuts for the tail lights.

Do yourself a favor and get a spare panel to paint. Just in case you decide you want the stock one back on at some point down the road.

haha i would do that but the trunk release in my dash is messed up so i would never be able to open it again :(

but i would have to agree on the separate panel makes sense just incase i severely mess up and no worries I plan on doing it sometime before september ill have some pics up so you can see if you want to do it or not

i think its perfect the way it is, if you dont know what kind of car it is, dont worry about it.

and its not like i need it, i know what it is.

Mine was professionaly painted when the car was repainted.

so was the roof, the sail panel, the mirrors, the front of the grill, and the headlight area.
