I have a 2000, and I saw this and liked it. Someone cut out the center part of the front bumper cover where is says "Camaro" leaving a wide gap. Practical or not?

yes there is bib.... heres a couple shots from a few years ago when i was cutting my support up so you have an idea whats back there(i was sick of looking at that ugly foam.
at this point i cut the 2 holes right where the grille matches up.
This is what it looks like all back together
