yeah man, beautiful car, love the black accent on the ss hood & the tail pannel, would do that to mine but its a black car, so i doubt anyone would notice-lol, & in response to the person that was asking about blacking out the grill, i have a rksports billet grill on mine & have been looking into painting it black, i think you could probally rough it up a bit with some wet/dry & hit it with a can of self-etching primer, then shoot it black, but don't hold me to that-fixin to go today & ask a buddy who is a body/paint guy for his advice, if he says different, i'll let ya'll know

thx for the comments! i had gotten the decal but it was so hard to install so i just got it painted on. its amazing how precise they got it.

for painting the grill i didnt do alot, just cleaned it up real good, shot it with primer for 2-3 coats, then black for 5-6 coats i wanted it DARK lol, then some clear coat of 3 coats. I wanted to get it powder coated but didnt want to waste much money on it so i rattle canned it. :D

Yeah, I bought my billet polished as well. Then painted it black a few times (self etching primer, lots of base and lots of clear) and finally sanded all the paint off and polished it back up. Truth is, your basic rattle can paint is not going to last all that long on the grill. You'll notice in his pictures that the grill is starting to chip in a few places. Mine looked like that shortly after painting, and after a road trip, there was an equal amount of aluminum showing to paint. If you want it to last, get it powder coated. If you want it to look good for a while, and need attention every now and again, rattle can it.

man u notice every little thing lol. any idea how much powder coating should range for it?

Looks good , The trunk is different , but I think the side mirrors would look better black since most with black roofs had black side mirrors then do the black outs on the tail lights , sides and front markers and fill in's would look great and some chrome ZR1's and billet front grills. Black halos, and thats about all I would do for appearance. maybe ground effects if keeping stock height if lowered then no ground effects.

i agree on the black license plate frame, a must for that car. maybe even tint the windows a little darker?

i have no idea. i have my license plate on the passenger side sun visor so when it flips out it is visible from the front of the car :D

black or chrome would both look good. but if i were you... id go with black c6's

Nice ride. I could tell it wasn't a stock color. The blue and black look good. Another option for rims is a black powdercoat with a blue powdercoat lip. Keep the theme going. That might look hot.

eh i dont know about the blue lip lol. but yeah either black or chrome rims is on the list right now.
