Trans-GO shift kit($90) , Corvette Servo ($20) , Hptuners to reprogram shifts and disable TQ mangement and tune everything else on the car. Change the tranny fluid to RP or some other Synthetic fluid, I use Vavoline Dexron IV and it runs great. But next time I change fluid i will go with RP royal purple. I run it in my engine and rear end and I like it alot.

I think mine is 1 washer on mine becuase I used Hptuners to adjust the shift points even more. But leave the tranny pressure the same since the kit ups the pressure.

don't you have to disable torq management to really feel a difference wit ha shift kit?

No way. The shift kit is a night and day difference. I put in the Transgo HD2 kit with 2 washers in the 1-2 accumulator and that 1-2 shift is amazing. 2-3 is nice and firm. Not too much change with 3-4 but maybe a little.

do you have a vette servo? and does it control all the 1-4 shifts?

Yes, you do and Trans go tells you This. On some older cars the shift kit will make a difference with out disabling torque management.

Just redoing my shift properties was a big difference with HPtuners.

yea the tune helped but the shift kit would help the speed of the shifts a lot i think

I know I have a Transgo and Vette Servo, but after doing the shift properties on HPtuners I could still feel the difference, I will chirp 2nd and 3 rd gear.

I don't have the corvette servo so I can't chime in on that. But just the Transgo was a night and day difference without HPTuners for me. Its a 97...i dunno if that makes a difference.

After having the shift kit for ~2 years I got HPT, disabled TQ management, and changed the desired shift times to .2 across the board. The change in shift time is what I noticed the most, not sure if I noticed any change from disabling the TQ management.
