Mines a 96' with a 02 A4 in it ,was a 00' M5. I had a tranny guy install the transgo and vette servo before I installed it, he went through it and replaced alot of the plastic parts with metal ones so it would last longer since I told him it will be used as with FI and more power will be going to it, cost me $160 including the new oil filter and gasket.

My 96' with a 97' PCM has TQ Mang. so I would say 96'-02' since their all 4L60E's, the 4L60 and 700R4 would be no elctronics so no TQ Mang.

Pulls timing during the shift and keeps the trans from shifting hard. On drive by wire cars it will even close the throttle blade during the shift. It is there to help the trans live longer and cut costs for GM on freebie repairs. Removing it lowers your ET about .03 on a stock car. 01's and 02's got the worst of it.
Crisp muscle car or full race shifts. Puts the driver in command. Holds 1st, 2nd, 3rd to any speed.
Backshifts to 3rd, 2nd & 1st by moving the lever.. 98 up:If vehicle has Torque Management this kit will not make hard shifts. Installation assistance video
The tranny guy who installed mine a 02' A4 in my 96' installed it with only 1 spacer couldn't fit too because it was too tight he said and would cause problems. Said he replaced different plastic parts with better metal ones. It def. changed how it shifted, its a neck snapper from 1st,2nd and 3rd gear. I think the 98 and up thing is B.S. since 95-97 have 4L60E's and plenty of people with 98-02's have installed Transgo shift kits and felt the difference in them. I had already had my tune ready when the m5 to a4 swap was done so I never knew how it feels with TQ Mang on.

Manual cars don't have torque management. They would have had to add it to your tune when you did the swap. It also has nothing to do with the year of the automatic transmission, it is all in the PCM.
lame gm!!!! i can def. feel it the torque management and the track. it like looses all the throttle when it shifts. I need somebody in the STL or Springfield, IL area with HP tuners
Still trying to find oil leak on my Camaro, it’s a tough one. I think it is the oil pressure sender myself. Leaking when raving and going into boost....
