    Re: Corvette servo

What about the 2-3 or 3-4 shifts? will the solenoid for the corvette improve them?

3-4 for sure if you do it it right. This will probably sound stupider than hell but if you know your transmission and how to really use it it's a great mod. In other words if you know where the shift points are, you know how to ease into to maximize the full rpm range rather than just mashing the **** out of it and you know when you can and can't get on it in relation to when it's about to shift. If you've gotten to know your tranny that well then this mod will benefit you the most. Go back and read my earlier other post about 4-3 downshifting and you'll understand what I mean better.

are you referring to an auto or a manual tranny?

            Auto

After you've driven your car for a while you know it's shift points depending on the load it's under. So with that you know when or how hard to get on it, to time it better and get maximum acceleration.

What I was referring to on the 4-3 downshift is like highway cruising. If your cruising along in 4th and want to go you can mash the hell out of the pedal and it will downshift and accelerate. But with the servo installed you only need to slowly ease into the gas because it will take less to get it to downshift and that means more pedal to push down and go.

I just recall that before I had the upgrades done that the behavior now and then is night and day.

This is interesting. I didn't know you could put a Vette servo. :)
